The EDP College Combine is an opportunity for players to showcase themselves in front of a large number of college coaches within a smaller, more targeted gameplay environment.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, EDP College Combines are on hold until further notice.
EDP College Combine 2019 – The Ultimate Recruiting Experience
Boys & Girls – Current HS Sophomores & Juniors
Friday, June 7, 2019 | 5-8:30PM
Tuckahoe Turf Farms:
The EDP College Combine consists of just 128 players, so each of those players will get much more watch time from college coaches than they would at a typical showcase.
Dates and deadline TBA
2019 participation for players was free of charge. The EDP Foundation approved funding to support and provide access for all participating players.
For complete event details, visit the EDP Soccer event page.
The EDP College Combine event is limited to a total of 128 players (64 girls, 64 boys). Within each gender, players will be divided into four teams of 16 players.
4 Fields | 11v11 | 1 – 50-Minute Game
With just four fields to watch, college coaches are able to recruit efficiently at the EDP College Combine. As a prequel to the weekend’s EDP Cup Spring Showcase tournament, the EDP College Combine allows college coaches to easily pack a lot of recruiting into a short window, which means the rest of the weekend can be less stressful and more productive.
This event is open to players who are current high school sophomores and juniors on teams registered and accepted for the EDP Cup Spring Showcase.
The EDP College Combine 2019 was hosted in conjunction with the EDP Cup Spring Showcase 2019 for 15U through 19U boys and girls. (This event was held Saturday and Sunday, June 8-9, 2019 at Tuckahoe Turf Farms in Hammonton, NJ, and Green Branch Park in Pittsgrove, NJ.)
EDP will record all games and provide video footage access to participating players and college coaches for free.
COLLEGE COACH EDUCATIONAL SESSIONS
The EDP Foundation will also host and fund educational sessions with expert presenters for all boys and girls teams, and their parents.
After competition has concluded, EDP Foundation staff, select college coaches, and industry thought-leaders will provide valuable insight into the college experience, and what it’s like to play at the next level for prospective college-bound athletes. There will also be a Q&A session and opportunities for 1-on-1 networking after the session.
